GHAP Services PLC is seeking a Mapping Geologist to support geological mapping and field data collection for a gold mining project in Kurmuk, Benishangul-Gumuz.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed geological and structural mapping
• Collect, document, and interpret field data
• Support exploration and mine geology teams with accurate mapping inputs
• Assist with drill target generation and geological interpretation
• Maintain high-quality geological records and maps
• Prepare technical reports and mapping outputs
Qualifications & Experience
• BSc in Geology (MSc preferred)
• 5–10 years of relevant field and mapping experience
• Strong skills in lithological and structural mapping
• Experience with gold mineralization systems preferred
• Familiarity with GIS and geological mapping software is an advantage
• Mine-site experience required
